After my somewhat dismissive comments regarding recognition breakfasts on [email protected] to project managers (no longer possible), it was interesting looking at what breakfast options are available for busy PMs. It is too late for anyone who feels like hosting a recognition breakfast to mark International Project Management Day.
Time-in-the-morning breakfast
Smoothie inspired from the Breakfast smoothie at Naked. Blend a banana with soyamilk and a few oats. If the blender and glass are dry, it can be difficult to clean them. You don’t need to make a separate beverage.
Oops-meeting-in-30-minutes breakfast
Croissant aux amandes, preferably from Le Pain au Naturel, but most boulangeries do a good job of croissants. Toast for colder days. This chocolate and orange bread looks amazing. You can easily make a quick stop at the bakery from your office. Even though Paris doesn’t offer a lot of take-away coffee options, supermarkets sell small tubs of milk-related products that aren’t too bad for a cup of tea.
Michel & Augustin’s Vache a boire offers a healthier alternative. It’s yoghurt inside a jar. Augustin, the red-haired, was my encounter. Augustin, the red-haired guy, was my encounter. They are passionate about their product and I met them on the street. I’m still a bit puzzled by all of the information about the banana trees and kangaroos.
Sunday breakfast at Deluxe Super
A cafe near rue Du Renard has a spaghetti-measuring scale as a handle. They have a Sunday brunch that is great. I was there when they were serving (it is an all-you-can-eat affair), but I did not eat. Isn’t this strange? Petite Anglaise also has a great brunch option. These are the places that I would visit if I wasn’t at work on Sunday mornings. No, honestly!
